The Bears drafted Pro Bowl CB Kyle Fuller twice this week, but couldn’t find a partner. The Bears had only one option left: let him go. Unfortunately, the Bears’ ceiling situation is the reason for this decision. The move cleared $11 million in space for the Bears.
The Bears have already officially fired CB Kyle Fuller. No transaction took place. He can sign with a new team as soon as possible.

Fuller was on the market for less than an hour. The Denver Broncos and former Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio quickly picked up Fuller. With Fuller gone, the Bears recently signed former Lyons CB Desmond Trufant to a one-year contract.
Fans are not happy with this move, especially since it reflects what happened to Adrian Amos. Fuller was a favorite with the Bears, and he played hard his entire career, leaving an impressive record.
Defense and table trap
Kenny Golladay, who was the Lions’ leading receiver last year, faced the Bears earlier this week. Galladay also met with the Giants and made the decision to travel to New York on Saturday. The Bears reportedly made an aggressive bid. It was also reported that this was not done to pressure Allen Robinson into signing the franchise, but to show genuine interest. According to Ian Rapoport, Golladay got along well with the Giants’ coaching staff.
#The Giants have found a number one WR in Kenny Golladay, pay him 18 million a year for it. The #Bears have made a significant effort, primarily in recruiting. But Galladay wanted the Giants, and both sides, to work the last 24 hours to close the deal.

According to sources earlier this week, Hicks demanded a deal. The discontent came after the Bears gave Andy Dalton a one-year contract. Fans didn’t blame Hicks, but they knew it would be a big hole to fill. Bears reporter Brad Biggs says previous reports about Hicks have changed and that Hicks will likely stay in Chicago. With Eddie Goldman returning this year after serving his COWID-19 sentence, the Bearcats’ front seven looks strong.
Sources who said Akiem Hicks is now available indicate he’s likely back with the #Bears. They have a big hole to fill in the Army, but they will keep the defense front 7. It was certainly a successful start to the championship for the team.

Bearcats fans are still on edge, hungry for positive news, knowing that Andy Dalton is not going to take this team to the top.
