Van Gogh’s compelling exhibition in Chicago.

A fascinating look at the work of Van Gogh. This digital art exhibition has already thrilled cities around the world. Although this exhibition opened on February 11, the entire month of February is already sold out. By popular demand, the exhibition has been extended by one month until September 6. Buy your tickets now, because this world-class exhibition is selling fast!

Ice skating at Maggie Daly Park.

While skating is closed at The Bean, skating is available at Maggie Daly Park. It requires non-transferable reserves. Skate rentals cost $16 and using your own skates $5.

Ice skating in Rosemont

Ice skating at the Chicago Wolves’ rink in Parkway Bank Park is available again this year. Admission to the rink is FREE, but reservations require a credit card. Guests who do not show up at the rink will be charged $8.00 per person. Skate rentals are $8.00 per person.

Ice castles on Lake Geneva


In Wisconsin, Lake Geneva is one of the best winter spectacles. Artists come to create amazing works of art and castles from the ice. These include beautiful LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, tunnels dug into the ice, slides, fountains and much more.

A journey through Wilmot Mountain’s snowpits and breweries


If you can ski, snowboard or tub in Wilmot, there is another way to make your weekend getaway more comfortable. There is a package that includes a bus that goes to downtown Chicago and takes you directly to Wilmot and back, where you can enjoy two hours of snow tubing. The cost is $149 and includes dinner and a free beer, as well as a tubing session and a round-trip bus ticket. Tickets for this weekend are sold out, but will still be available the other weekends in February.

Fire and ice bar

While most winter/holiday pop-ups take place in December, this one opened in January in an alley in the West Loop. The patio features ice sculptures, fireplaces, s’mores and a cocktail included in the admission price.

Monet Chicago

One of the best things to do in the winter to warm up is to visit the Art Institute. There is an exhibition on Monet through June 14, 2021.


Laugh More Live (Cupid’s Edition)

Zanies is hosting a live virtual event with Joe Kilgallon. Enjoy a good evening of comedy while it’s cold outside.

Drive-in ChiTown Films

Magic House Salon – Illusionist Dennis Watkins.

Dennis Watkins usually stays at the Palmer House, but this time it’s a virtual event thanks to COVID-19. His magic and illusions take place on the Internet. In some of his tricks, he plays cards while watching. Watkins’ show is number one on TripAdvisor.



Sporting Events

Here are all the sporting events with Chicago teams taking place this weekend. Fans won’t be attending games in the country, so enjoy them from your couch. Bulls (10-14) vs. reapers (18-8)
