Ice skating in Maggie Daly Park

While skating is closed in Bean, there is an ice rink open at Maggie Daly Park. This requires non-transferable reserves. Skate rentals cost $16 and using your own skates $5.

Ice skating in Rosemont

Ice skating at the Wolves of Chicago ice rink on Bankway Parkway is once again in the spotlight this year. Admission to the rink is FREE, but reservations require a credit card. Guests who do not show up to skate will be charged $8 per person. Skate rentals are $8.

In Wisconsin, Lake Geneva is one of the best winter spots. Artists come to create amazing works of art and castles of ice. These include beautiful LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice tunnels, slides, fountains and much more.

Snow Pipeline and Wilmot Mountain Brewery

If you can ski, snowboard or tub in Wilmot, there’s another way to make a weekend getaway more comfortable. There is a package that includes a bus that leaves downtown Chicago and takes you directly to Wilmot and back, where you can enjoy two hours of snow tubing.
