Welcome to the seventh edition of What’s On Tap in Chicago this weekend. This series of articles is designed to bring you the best of Chicago entertainment on a weekly basis. For more information on what inspired this venture, read the introduction to the link below.

Did everyone make it? That’s all I’m saying. Before we begin, a few notes:

Refer to the COVID-19 protocols for each event. Only do what you feel most comfortable doing during the current pandemic.

With the relaxation of restrictions, this set of items is expected to become more selective and targeted as the number and volume of events increases.

Let’s plunge into the new year with all that’s happening over the weekend of the 22nd through the 24th. January 2021 takes place in the Chicagoland area.

Magic House Salon – Illusionist Dennis Watkins

Dennis Watkins usually stays at Palmer House, but this time it’s a virtual event thanks to COVID-19. Its magic and illusions take place on the internet. Some of his tricks require you to have a deck of cards while you watch. Watkins’ show is number one on TripAdvisor.
